DUMPLINGS STUFFED WITH CASHEW SESAME BUTTER

PREP TIME: 30 minutes

COOK TIME: 5 minutes

SERVES: 1 pack of dumplings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pack of store-bought dumpling wrappers
  • Cashew sesame butter
  • A little bit of water (to seal the sides)
  • Vegetable oil for cooking
  • Blueberry jam to serve with the dumplings

 

If you don’t have a dumpling maker, you can simply fold the dumpling in two and press the sides with a fork.

 

PREPARATION
  1. Place 1 tsp of cashew sesame butter in the center of the dumpling wrapper.
  2. With your fingers, moisten the rim of the wrapper with water.
  3. Press the two sides of the dumpling together firmly. Repeat process with other dumpling wrappers.
  4. Place 4-5 dumplings in a bowl and cover them with boiling water for a few seconds.
  5. Using a slotted spoon, scoop out the dumplings from the water and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. In a frying pan, add a drizzle of vegetable oil and cook the dumplings over medium-high heat during 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Place dumplings in a plate and serve with blueberry jam.
